My silly halloween boys! Riley insisted on being a doctor again this year. We are encouraging this desire! Brock wanted to be a pirate. I got the outfit at the store but all the extras came from a timely birthday party of one of Brock's classmates.

Still catching up
Soccer time! Riley moved up to 6 year old soccer this year and did amazing. The difference a year made was huge. And he had a great coach. I'm even considering signing him up for Spring season. He's really good!
Four year old soccer, on the other hand, was a joke. It was complete chaos from start to finish with lots of screaming and tears from the kids. Total insanity!
Riley working hard on worksheets
Brock "fixing his hair" in the car pool line at his school
Hanging out with Daddy
Brock's birthday. 2nd year in a row he's asked for a chocolate cake train.
Next up--Halloween and Pumpkin patch!

Playing Catch-Up
Ok, I'm just going to hit a few highlights here and hopefully get back to blogging on some kind of normal schedule!
The brothers--
Our visit to Aunt Sudie in Atlanta. It was quick but it was awesome!

My Sudie!
Riley's first day of school. He's now a big kindergartner. How is my baby in "real" school now?
He was so excited and ready for me to leave!
I walked away and SOBBED on the way back to van. My BABY!!!!!!! Playing next door with our neighbor Ethan on his birthday. They wanted to live on this thing.

I'll be back with more shortly!

The reason I've been sucking at blogging lately
We're having a baby!
And it's a GIRL.
Will I have to rename my blog? Or will she just be my sidekick on this land of Mars? She's due December 6, 2012. And now that we're over the SHOCK of producing a girl child, we're getting excited about her getting here. We're even going to paint and decorate the nursery for her. And it's all The Guy's design. Blue skies and green hills with flowers and a neat tree decal and plenty of pink accents.
Less than 3 months to go!

Gulf Shores
It didn't take too long before we were joined by my brother, Dan, my nephew, Alex, and my sister-in-law, Nakissa. They had flown in from Dallas to Pensacola and then were stranded in Pensacola because of flooding. But they finally found a route out and made it.
They boys pretty much idolize Alex. They think he is the coolest ever. Which they should!
Every morning the adults would go out and look for dolphins and drink coffee. Granddaddy had a sidekick one morning.
The children begged and begged to head down to the water as soon as they woke up each morning. Daddy only joined us in the water once but he made it memorable, staying out with the boys for hours.
The boys were naturals in the water. They had tons of fun!
Aunt Nakissa and Brock building castles.
A shot of Uncle Dan riding the waves.
BeBe and Aunt Nakissa taking a breather from playing.
More coming!
